Ableton Live Beginner Course

Lesson 1:

• Navigating the software
• Session view vs Arrangement View

 

Lesson 2:

• Warping
• Clips: Creating Musical Elements

 

Lesson 3:

• MIDI Note Editor
• Quantization

 

Lesson 4:

• Building drums using Impulse

 

Lesson 5:

• Adding bass, synths, and sound effects

 

Lesson 6:

• Intro to Sampling using Simpler

 

Each 1on1 lesson that we have together is recorded and given to the student. Students are also provided with detailed notes specific to each lesson.

This course includes six sessions. Each session is two hours in duration. Total hours of course = 12

Remember that following each lesson there will be homework due at the beginning of the next session, when scheduling your classes we recomend you dont book back-to-back days.

Ex. Book Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Friday for this course
